Sadly, I don't have any pictures, yet, but I have to say how wonderful our wedding was and how much we all enjoyed the barbecue. We had a really beautiful day, about 82 and sunny, and so many of our families were able to come and spend a few hours with us. We had 2 pinyatas for the kids and you can bet that went over well. We had great help from Eric's mom, Diane, Eric's dad, Pastor Karl, and our grill-man, Luis Vega and a few others who really came thru when wee needed a hand on our big day. I'll post a few short videos and pictures when they start coming in from guests, but suffice to say it was really special day.
My mom is still in HCMC, but hopefully she will start to get up and around a little more and get a transfer to the nursing home that's ajacent to her apartment building so she can recooperate a little closer to home. She is still really weak and isn't really interested in getting out of bed yet, but they're not sure if that's mental or physical right now. Time will tell...
Leo is really doing great. We have startedd him in a swim class at the YWCA and he is SO READY AND EXCITED to be there!! Eric goes with him and it's clearly some great boy-dad time and I'm so happy they are enjoying it so much.
Other things are in the works but that's all the time I got.
warm thoughts,
Ellen
