I'd rather be flying...

I missed Oshkosh Airventure this year and I'm so sad. I won't let that happen again next year. Here's a little taste...

My week is full of rushing around and I so hope I can pare things down after our wedding so I can have some time to breath and not look at my to-do lists every few minutes. I am busy getting things done for our wedding in 4 weeks and things are falling into place, so that's good. I think it's going to be a lot of fun and I'm so excited to be doing this and to have left most of my fears behind me. We are working down on the farm a couple days a week and I might finally have ripe tomatoes this week, not sure and trying be be OK with that. I'm not discouraged but I am disappointed things didn't go like I had hoped. We didn't get our poop in a group early enough and in the right ways in the spring and then weather really didn't cooperate with us for hot season veggies this year. But instead of scaling back or quitting, my decision is to take lots of noes about what to do differently and to go even bigger next year in term s of climate control. I've downloadedd plans for a small greenhouse and will buy materials this fall so we can hopefully put it up in March.
Leo is doing well and adjusting to Eric working so much. He does want his 'nook' more often, so I can tell he's doing his best to cope with the increased pace of our lives right now. Also, he's been a real bear to get into bed lately and I'm wondering if it's not time to stop the naps so he'll go to bed at a reasonable time. He's been stalling and fighting bedtimes lately, so he'll be up until 8:30 some nights-very different from the boy of 6 months ago who went to bed and was usually asleep at 7:30.
That's it for now.
