Some new pics and updates (pre-spring dragging on)

This is a pic of all of us from my work who raised money for the Special Olympics and jumped into White bear lake Jan. 31, 2009. It was very fun and I would definately do it again.

Things are good with us right now though we are laying low to save money. Needless to say, we are leaving for Las Vegas next week and look forward to a good time where it's a bite more spring-like. Erics mom and dad were kind enough to take Leo for the 4 days and we are looking forward to some grown-up time away.

Not too much else going on, just waiting for spring. I do have some good news; I am trying for a slot to sell produce at the minneapolis farmers market and have a friend on the inside who assures me I'll get one. It's a big step from my first big garden on the farm last year, but I am making plans for seeds and have plans to go down and take some measurements so I can accurately figure out spacing. I am also debating closing down my tie-dye business or just putting my efforts on hold for the summer. Sadly for me, it's never been very successful, despite the uniqueness of my work and my ameteur efforts at marketing. I might try a few craft sales this summer or other things, but I'm just starting to look at my efforts there with a little more critical eye. My flying is going well and I am making great progress there. I hope to start my long cross country towards the end of March and then maybe take my practical test in June. After all this time, I know I will feel such a sense of accomplishment.
Wishing you all well...
