First, a little background. I work pretty closely with a bunch of engineers and draftsman, all guys, and a pretty mellow bunch. I once told a friend of mine who was complaining about the hen-party where she worked that I loved the people I worked with because we usually stay pretty professional and I never have to hear about what way their lives are falling apart or are better than so-an-so's. We suit each other.
But sometimes, I get a pretty cool peek into one of their lives and find something very interesting. So Dave Meech, a draftsman I work with, my age and tres' cool, started taking some art classes. He took one for glass ?slumping? and...knowing how much I like sushi, he made me this very special sushi dish set. Since I have made lots of artsy things and given them away to people with varying receptions, I want to tell Dave and anyone else who comes here that it was very cool and I will keep them safe and hopefully eat lots of delicious sushi off of them. Thanks, pal, if I were a single girl I'd give you a big smooch, just for funzies! I have to say, I am lucky enough to have some very cool people in my life for sure.
