true to our natures, the Park-Lunds found a way to turn lemons into lemonade. 1 1/2 weeks ago, Eric had a day off and we decided to go to the science museum for the morning. it was a cloudy day, but warm, and we parked below the museum on Shepard road like always. but, much to our consternation, the republican national convention was going on and they closed the museum for the whole week. we didn't want to drive anywhere else, so we decided to hang out in a new park nearby with a lovely water feature and reflection pool. All of us played in the water and eventually, Leo went thru the waterfall part of the feature, which I thought was hilarious. I know there are a lot of times when we will have to restrain his actions for safety or other reasons, but this wasn't one of them and it goes without saying that we had a blast. We have also had a camping trip since then and some other family updates I will try to detail tomorrow, including some video of the north shore. Wishing you all well...
