If any of you want to know what I looked like as a toddler, here's my clone:

Two of my favorite men in the whole world showed me their silly side, which I am graced with often.
The spring has shaped up into beautiful weather, if dry, but we are spending a lot of time outside enjoying the sunshine. I'll take some pics of the home garden this weekend as I have perennials coming along beautifully and even blooming (come see my false indigo - she is lovely!) I'll also try to take some pics tomorrow of the farm garden, I haven't been down there since tuesday so I'm looking forward to seeing what a little rain and a few days of sunshine have done. There's still a lot to do down there and Leo and I will be down there in the morning tomorrow to plant more plants and some seeds, too. I was starting to feel some pressure because the mpls. Farmer's market is so busy already, but when I talked to my friend, Xa, who got me involved there, she said they are still not there for a couple more weeks and she's been doing this for a long time. So that made me feel better.
They have reduced hours for the hourly people where I work, including me, and while MN unemployment will be able to help me with some of that loss, I have spent time the last couple weeks thinking of things we could change that would make a greater difference for our family saving money. I've come to the really hard place of deciding that I need to sell my skydiving gear. It's worth about 3000$ and that would take care of our refinancing the house so our payments would be lower. I hope to be able to jump a little this year, but the truth is, there really isn't money for that sport at all, right now - we have to focus on other things. It might seem like a duh to other people who have never jumped or had something they were really passionate about they had to give up, but it was a hard decision to make and I'm glad the wavering is over.
Also, we are trying to find alternative childcare for Leo and have a couple leads. We really love our daycare, but we have to pick a More affordable option for now.
That's about it. We have some tough decisions and tightening our belts ahead of us, but also some really exciting events and opportunities and I am looking forward to the challenges.
Ciao, Friends!
