Leo was enjoying some onion flavored funyuns on the way home from IKEA last week.
Then I have some other video. The 1st week in November we went out to my dad's at the Hutchinson airport for me to fly and just to enjoy a visit. We played with a creeper on the ramp
And later Eric made a jump out of my dad's Cessna 150. It was almost dark, beautiful sunset and very lovely fall day.
Things have been going very well for us, despite the scare of the economic downturn. We are enjoying our time as a family and I have been able to go to an exercise class my friend Sarah is leading. It's pretty strenuous, but I am liking the company and the outdoor workout. Leo is talking SOOO much, now, I can't believe I ever wondered that he wasn't saying many words and other kids his age were. He is starting to show some precursors for reading as well: pretending to read books sometimes and recognizing letters on other things like clothing as language. He is also starting to practice counting and can count all the way to 3! :)
I am doing a lot of work with my etsy site where I sell dye work, trying to organize marketing and tips from critiques I am given and make them a reality on the site. Aside from the financial downturn, people are still spending money this holiday season and more people are going out of their way to support artists, crafters and designers like the sellers on etsy.com so I hope I can catch the eye of more of them. I'm going to have to make a request for models because I need to put more of my clothing on children and adults, since all the clothing sellers tell me a product on a real person is much more appealing than on a hanger or layed flat.
And Eric is doing well. Siding work is still going, lots of people with hail insurance jobs and we'll keep our fingers crossed that it keeps up thru the winter. He is also making a few jumps here and there and hoping we can take up climbing this winter.
Anyway, we hope you all are enjoying the beginning of the holiday season.
